I am a photographer based in the Fort Meade area, serving MD, DC and VA. Originally from Maryland, I was raised by a Navy family in Hampton Roads, VA. My Alma mater is Virginia Commonwealth University, where I received my BFA in Photography, a BA in Women’s & Gender Studies and a minor in Psychology.
It was also in Richmond that I met the love of my life, who I legally married September 19th, 2013! My wife is a combat photographer in the Army and I couldn’t be more proud. She often works with me doing videography or as a second photographer. We love animals and have several fur babies that we rescued (#adoptdontshop).
Photography is not only my passion but the manner in which I best express my creativity. My style is versatile, combining a fine arts background with a journalistic and candid eye. I am laid-back, but also very organized and efficient, easing my clients and letting them focus on the experience. I have been described by a guest as, “In and out like a shadow”, pointing towards my unobtrusive style.
I specialize in weddings, elopements, events and lifestyle photography. But don’t be afraid to inquire about something different! I’m always looking for a new adventure.
